The legal principle of “guilty without evidence until proven innocent” the Democrats are promulgating is dangerous. It is dangerous for our sons, brothers, fathers, and society. It should be disturbing to all fair minded Americans.
Consider Julie Swetnick. She came forward and accused Brett Kavanaugh of coordinating “gang rape” as a teenager. Yes - GANG RAPE. Even the most ardent liberal Democrat opponents of Kavanaugh know Swetnick’s accusations are false and politically motivated.
Swetnick is proof there are women willing to use sexual assault claims to destroy people they disagree with politically. It is tragic that people stoop this low, but it happens.
As a father of a young lady, and as a man with sisters, nieces, aunts, girl friends, female coworkers, false claims of sexual assault are appalling, repugnant, and harmful to real victims of violence!
Sexual assault is unspeakably horrendous and we need to have open honest conversations with the women in our lives. They need to know we will be there for them to love and support them if they ever (God forbid) need to file charges.
They need to know they need to bring the accusations forward immediately! They cannot keep their experience to themselves, no matter how hard it is. Violent predators must be prosecuted immediately and to the full extent of the law.
No one wants to be in a position to question the veracity of an assault claim, but unfortunately this is where we are with Dr. Ford.
Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and Julie Swetnick both lack credibility. Swetnick (I read) won’t even be investigated because her claims have no corroborating evidence and, frankly, are patently ridiculous.
Dr. Ford is an unfortunate woman. She clearly has some cognitive issues, but more importantly, her claims have absolutely zero corroboration.
1. She claimed it happened 36 years ago.
2. She never mentioned any assault (or ANYTHING) to anyone at anytime until 2012.
3. She never mentioned his name until recently.
4. Nobody she claims attended the party even REMEMBERS the party.
5. She has ZERO evidence that he in any way, shape, or form ever met her.
We cannot accept NO PROOF as proof of sexual assault. If we do, no young man will be safe from political attacks from left wing radicals.
